This week, shoot abstract photos that reduce objects down into simple lines and shapes. Keep in mind the three directions of lines we discussed and their psychological influence on the viewer: Vertical (communicates strength), Horizontal (communicates calm), Diagonal (communicates movement). Use a large aperture and zooming in to create a short depth of field in the photographs. You may also use your Macro Mode or the corresponding "Best Shot" setting. Think about the composition of the photograph. You as the photographer need to be aware of everything in the image before you press the shutter release. Shoot indoors or outdoors and you may make these black and white if you want. Please post two of your best shots (or more) on the blog.
Have fun and think outside the box. Try to shoot photographs that you think no one else would!
