Ineffective shot- A scene of part of my messy kitchen. I purposefully tried to keep it from having a subject (other than "messy kitchen").
Effective Photograph- After trying several angles, I moved in close to the two jars on the toaster oven. They had similar shapes and the glass jar caught the color of the ceramic blue one. I also turned my camera at an angle in order to show the image in an unexpected way.

ReplyDeleteI think you did make it a much better picture for the second one. I do like how the blue refletcted off the glass jar. Maybe you could make it have a little more of a subject or meaning. That it kind of hard though. I do think you did a very good job. (:
Thanks Maggie for being the first to comment on photos! Good work and this is exactly what I was looking for. I think you are right. The second photo needs a little more of a subject or a "point".
