This represents me because this is the camp I go to in the summer for a month. I love this camp and I always grow as a person when I'm there. The camp means a lot to me. 

This represents me because my name means pearl so I spelled my name out of pearls.

 this 1st picture i try to get my reflection which you can kind of see but i though it was kind of cool anyway.
 i wish i would have not cut off the frame on the sunglasses it probably would have looked better

this one i try to find something that would represent me ..

Assignment #3:

Assignment #3- The Self-less Self-Portrait

Considering the composition guidelines we discussed in class, during the week, shoot several self-portraits.  However, these portraits cannot include you or any part of your body in them in any way.  There are no rules beyond this one.  I want to see your most creative interpretation of this assignment.  Post at least three of your best shots and please describe which composition guidelines you used. 

Composition guidelines to consider:  Rule of Thirds, Contrast, Rule of Odds, Simplicity, Framing, and Unexpected Angle.

Also try to use the Aperture Priority setting on your camera for several shots to get the feel for it.

I never achieved a good short depth of field.  The last shot is from a trip to Asia a couple of years ago and I thought it fit the assignment.

Assignment 2 - Emily Willis

I know this is a LOT but we went to the botanical gardens and I couldn't resist. P.S. the picture with the purple flowers is my favorite and I had to lean way over the edge of a wall to get the one of the stones.
